Participant: Dr. Lee

Dr. Lee is an assistant professor in the department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at MSU. Previously, he was a postdoctoral associate at MIT in the department of Chemical Engineering. His research interests include molecular level control over the self-assembled biofilms and nanostructured functional films. The functional and nanostructured molecular films can be fabricated by bottom-up processes such as novel non-lithographic approaches, molecular self-assemblies, and layer-by-layer assemblies. His roles in the CNBI’s missions are the nanofabrication and characterization of the high-surface and high-selective bioelectronic interfaces for biosensors, biocatalytic reactors, and biofuel cells.
